Stephen Holgate (born 15 December 1971) is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. He played at representative level for England and Cumbria, and at club level for Hensingham ARLFC (in Hensingham, Whitehaven),[4] Workington Town, Wigan Warriors, Hull Sharks and Halifax in the Super League as a prop, or second-row.[2]

Holgate played at second-row for Wigan Warriors in their 1998 Super League Grand Final victory over Leeds Rhinos.[citation needed]
