Stevy Okitokandjo (born 18 June 1994) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays for C.D. Mafra as a forward.

Career[]

At the age of 8, Okitokandjo was accepted into the academy of AFC Ajax, the most successful Dutch outfit, but shortly moved to Belgium.[1] Later, he was not allowed to join high level youth academies due his father's emphasis on education.[1] After failing to make an appearance for Belgian top flight sides K.A.A. Gent and K.V. Mechelen, Okitokandjo trialed with K Beerschot VA but suffered a car accident, causing the transfer not to happen.[1]

In 2018, he signed for S.C. Olhanense in the Portuguese third division after trialing with Dutch outfit Eindhoven as well as AS Trenčín in Slovakia.[1] However, he had to sleep in the stadium because of their financial problems before leaving.[1]

Okitokandjo was the top scorer of the 2019/20 Taça de Portugal with 6 goals.

Personal life[]

Born in the Netherlands, Okitokandjo is of Congolese descent.[2]
