Stuart C. Conover is a fiction author and blogger who works in the realm of science fiction, horror, and fantasy.
Writing[]
As an author, Conover work has appeared in more than 40 anthologies,[1] including over 10 from Black Hare Press.[2] His stories have primarily fallen into the horror genre though have been expanding into both fantasy and science fiction.[3] Two of his works were also included in "Best Of" anthologies including the 'Best Horror Stories of 2015' from Disquieted Dreams,[4] and 'Year's Best Body Horror 2017' from Gehenna & Hinnom Books.
His work has also been featured on The Wicked Library podcast.[5]
Conover is the editor for Horror Tree,[citation needed] which is an author resource site founded in 2011 that lists open paying markets for authors and also includes interviews, original fiction, and advice. He was a writer for ScienceFiction.com from the end of 2012[6] until early 2020. Other stints by Conover included being the founder of BuyZombie until it sold to Journalstone on September 9, 2014,[7] after which he helped continue to run BuyZombie as well as their other online imprints which include Hell Notes, Horrorworld, and Horror Review.[citation needed] He has done freelance work for other sites including JoBlo.com.[8]
