Sultans of Sentiment is the second full-length album by indie rock band the Van Pelt. It was released in 1997 on Gern Blandsten Records.In 2017 the album was remastered and reissued by La Castanya Records.

Vulture.com described "Nanzen Kills a Cat" as "a near-perfect encapsulation" of the emo genre.[1]
