Introduction[]
Sunmarke is a British Curriculum and IB World School in Dubai offering a Nursery and EYFS to Year 13 programme of study.
Sunmarke follows the British curriculum, with Year 11 students undertaking GCSE and additional vocational BTEC examinations. Year 12 and 13 students can opt to follow the International Baccalaureate Curriculum, taking part in the Diploma Programme and Career-related Programme, or the British Curriculum undertaking A Levels or BTECs.

Sunmarke offers multiple signature programmes such as the Mini MBA programme, the Virtual Reality Programme, STEAM and Robotics Concentration, an Eco & Sustainability Concentration, A Term Aboard, a Careers Launchpad and Arts programme.

Sunmarke offers over 60 extracurricular activities from sports to the performing arts (drama, dance, ballet and music), the World Scholar's Cup, the Model UN, the Sunmarke Gazette (combining a physical newspaper, online blog, podcasts and online videos), Sunmarke Rocks (rock ‘n roll band), and clubs for cheerleaders, science, reading and more. Students also participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Awards pursuing a variety of interests and developing confidence, resilience and teamwork skills.

Sunmarke offers an extensive timetabled programme for PE including Health-related fitness, Swimming, Badminton, Table Tennis, Trampolining, Cricket, Rounders and Athletics, with students also participating in activities as diverse as touch Martial Arts and Zumba.
The Games programme allows all students exposure to competitive team sports such as Football, Touch Rugby, Basketball, Netball, Volleyball, and Handball alongside further opportunities for developing Health and Fitness.
