Surowa [suˈrɔva] (German: Syrau) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Żary, within Żary County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north of Żary and 39 km (24 mi) south-west of Zielona Góra.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
