Sutherland Peak

Sutherland Peak (

77°38′S 161°3′E / 77.633°S 161.050°E / -77.633; 161.050Coordinates: 77°38′S 161°3′E / 77.633°S 161.050°E / -77.633; 161.050) is one of the peaks of the Inland Forts, standing 2 nautical miles (3.7 km) north-northwest of in the Asgard Range of Victoria Land. It was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Commander , U.S. Navy, Officer-in-Charge of the winter-over detachment at McMurdo Station in 1974.
