Sven Sachsalber

Sven Sachsalber (1987 – December 2020) was an Italian artist.[1][2][3]

Biography[]

Sachsalber was born in Südtirol and raised in Laatsch, Malles in Vinschgau. He studied art at the Royal College of Art in London from 2010 to 2013.

Sachsalber is best known for his performance art pieces like spending 24 hours in a locked room with a cow, searching for an actual needle in a haystack, and sawing off tree branches while on top of the tree.[4][5][6]

He died in Vienna in December 2020, aged 33.[7]
