Syed Rafaqat Ali Gillani is a Pakistani politician who has been a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab since August 2018.

Political career[]

He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as an independent candidate from Constituency PP-284 (Layyah-V) in 2018 Pakistani general election.[1]

On 28 July 2018, he joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).[2]

On 11 September 2018, he was inducted into the provincial Punjab cabinet of Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and was appointed as special assistant to the Chief Minister on auqaf and religious affairs.[3]
