Szafarnia [ʂaˈfarɲa] (German: Forsthausen)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kurzętnik, within Nowe Miasto County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[2] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Kurzętnik, 10 km (6 mi) south-west of Nowe Miasto Lubawskie, and 83 km (52 mi) south-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.
