Tabitha Cambodia

Tabitha Cambodia is a non-profit organization that aims to improve the lives of poor people in Cambodia. It was founded in 1994 by Janne Ritskes.[1]

Tabitha Foundation Cambodia activities include:

  • Sustainable Community Development by encouraging personal savings [2]
  • Cottage industry with products marketed around the world.
  • Wells for clean water, Ponds for irrigation.
  • House-building programs.
  • Schools, educating the next generation.
  • In progress is the building of a women's Hospital in Phnom Penh

Tabitha Cambodia trains local Cambodian staff in the implementation of its programs.

Regional Organizations[]

House building teams come from around the world. Since 1994 9,882 houses have been built, and 18,487 water sources supplied. 69 schools have been built so far.[citation needed]
