"Tail" (Korean: 꼬리; stylized in all caps) is a song recorded by South Korean singer Sunmi from the single album of the same name. It was released digitally on February 23, 2021 along with the album, by Abyss Company,[1] eight months after her previous single, "Pporappippam" (2020).[2]

Background and release[]

On February 2, Sunmi's agency, Makeus Entertainment, told Newsen that the singer was preparing for a "comeback with the aim of releasing a new song at the end of February".[3][4] It was also reported that Sunmi had finished working on her title track and is making her finishing touches on the album.[3][4] "Tail" was released on February 23, 2021, in conjunction with a music video which had references to Catwoman from the film Batman Returns.[5]
