Taj Farrant

Taj Farrant (born 21 May 2009) is an Australian guitarist often called a prodigy. He has appeared on Australia's Got Talent[1] and on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.[2][3]

Career[]
After getting his start on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Australia's Got Talent, the diminutive guitarist began to garner worldwide attention.[4][5]
Farrant has generated many views on his YouTube channel. His cover of the song "Tennessee Whiskey" has 4.6 million views.[6] In 2019 he signed with Dorsey Productions worldwide.[7]
At the House of Blues event in Las Vegas in 2020, he was invited on stage by Carlos Santana for a jam session. A video of the session, posted to Farrant's YouTube channel, currently has garnered over 1.2 million views (As of 1 March 2021).
Musical equipment[]
His main guitar, that he used on Australia's Got Talent, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show, is a cherry red Gibson SG. This led to Farrant, 9 years old at the time, becoming the youngest guitarist to be endorsed by Gibson guitars and Elixir Strings.[8]
According to the info section on his YouTube channel, Farrant is also endorsed by Friedman Amps, Shure, and Nexi Pedalboards.
