Takuya Murayama (村山 拓哉, Murayama Takuya) is a Japanese footballer who plays as a right winger for Israeli side Hapoel Acre of the Liga Leumit.

Career[]

He played with Kyoto Shiko, Kumiyama High School and Hannan University[1] in Japan, before coming to Poland where, after playing half-season with Gwardia Koszalin, he joined Pogoń Szczecin and played four seasons with them. Next, he had a spell in Thailand where he played with Ratchaburi in 2016.[2]

In summer 2018 he was back in Europe, this time by signing with Serbian SuperLiga side FK Zemun.[3] In January 2019 Murayama signed a contract with Hapoel Petah Tikva F.C. of the Israeli second tier league.[4]

He should not be confused with another Japanese footballer also called Takuya Murayama (born August 7, 1987)[5] which is Waseda University graduate and has been playing regularly with the Rockdale City Suns in Australia since 2012.[6]
