Taliesin Axelrod Armstrong Jaffe[1] (/ˈtælɪsən ˈdʒæfi/; born January 19, 1977) is an American actor, director and screenwriter.[2] He stars in the Dungeons & Dragons web series Critical Role.[3]
Biography[]
Jaffe is the son of Nina Axelrod and Robert Jaffe, and the grandson of screenwriter George Axelrod. He has two brothers and a sister.[4] He spent his career as a child actor for five years and spent a ten year hiatus from acting. He became a dubbing voice actor for anime.[5] He came out as bisexual in 2017.[6] In Critical Role, he played Percival "Percy" Fredrickstein von Musel Klossowski de Rolo III in Campaign One, and Mollymauk Tealeaf and Caduceus Clay in Campaign Two.[7][8] The cast members left the Geek & Sundry network in early 2019 and set up their own production company, Critical Role Productions.[9][10][11][12] They aimed to raise $750,000 on Kickstarter to create an animated series of their first campaign, but ended up raising over $11 million.[13][14] In November 2019, Amazon Prime Video acquired the streaming rights to the animated series The Legend of Vox Machina.[15][16]
