Tamika Lawrence

Tamika Sonja Lawrence is a Grammy Winning recording artist, songwriter, and Broadway, TV&Film actor.

Early life[]

Lawrence was born on January 11, 1987 in Columbus, Ohio. She now resides in New York City.

Career[]

Lawrence made her off Broadway debut in the 2011 revival of RENT as the Seasons of Love Soloist. Since then Tamika has appeared in 7 Broadway shows, TV & Film and has released her 2017 album "UGLY" with her band "The Slay". Lawrence won a Grammy on the Dear Evan Hansen Album in 2018.^[1] Lawrence has announced that her debut record "Two Faced" will be released in 2019.
