Tantillita is a genus of snakes in the family Colubridae. The genus is endemic to Central America.[1]
Species and subspecies[]
Three species are recognized as being valid. One species has two subspecies, including the nominotypical subspecies.[1]

Nota bene: A binomial authority or a trinomial authority in parentheses indicates that the species or the subspecies, respectively, was originally described in a genus other than Tantillita.
Etymology[]
The specific name, lintoni, is in honor of American archeologist Linton Satterthwaite.[2]
The subspecific name, rozellae, is in honor of American herpetologist , wife of American herpetologist Hobart Muir Smith.[2]
Reproduction[]
All species in the genus Tantillita are oviparous.[1]
