Telema is a genus of long-legged cave spiders that was first described by Eugène Louis Simon in 1882.[2] Four species have been transferred to Pinelema: T. cordata, T. liangxi, T. strentarsi, and T. zhewang.[1]

As of September 2019 it contains thirty-six species, most found in Asia, except for T. tenella, found in Europe, and T. mayana, found in Guatemala:[1]
