The Temple Hall is a British cargo ship built in 1954. In 1981 she ran aground off the coast of the Canary Island Lanzarote, Spain, and as of 2018 still remains in position adjacent to the islands power station.[1]

History[]

The cargo Ship Temple Hall was built by Caledon Shipbuilding & Engineering Company Ltd. in Dundee, Scotland in 1954.

In 1977 she was re-named the Telamon, managed by Armour Shipping Inc. in Greece.

On the 31st October 1981, The Telamon was on route from Ivory Coast to Thessaloniki when she sprung a leak and was forced to run aground in Arrecife, Lanzarote.
