The tepui antpitta[2] or brown-breasted antpitta (Myrmothera simplex) is a species of bird in the family Grallariidae.

It occurs in Venezuela, western Guyana and far northern Roraima.

Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.
