Tessaracoccus antarcticus is a Gram-positive and facultatively anaerobic bacterium from the genus of Tessaracoccus which has been isolated from soil from the Fildes Peninsula.[1][3][4][2] Tessaracoccus antarcticus produces rhodopsin.[2]
