The Amazing Maurice is an upcoming animated fantasy film by Sky Cinema based on the 2001 book The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents by Terry Pratchett.[2][3] This film is specifically targeted toward the young adult audience.[4]

In June 2019, the adaption of Terry Pratchett's novel into an animated film was announced.[11] Additionally, Terry Rossio was stated to be the screenplay writer, Carter Goodrich the character designer, Toby Genkel the film's director, Emely Christians, Robert Chandler and Andrew Baker as producers.[12] In October 2019 sales for the film began and art work from the production was released.[13] The voice cast of Hugh Laurie, Emilia Clarke, David Thewlis, Himesh Patel, Gemma Arterton and Hugh Bonneville was announced in November 2020.[9] David Tennant, Rob Brydon, Julie Atherton and Joe Sugg would be added to the voice cast in May 2021.[14]
