The Bentley London is a luxury AA 5-star hotel in London, England. It is located at 27-33 Harrington Gardens in south Kensington, lying between Cromwell Road to the north and Brompton Road to the south in close proximity to some of London's major museums including the Natural History Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum and other sites of note such as the Royal Albert Hall, Sloane Square and the Royal Court Theatre, and the boutiques of Knightsbridge such as Harrods and Harvey Nichols.[1] The hotel contains 64 rooms.[2][3] The building was first constructed in 1880 and joined the Hilton Group as a Franchise in October 2008 and added to the elite Waldorf-Astoria collection on 12 March 2009. As of January 2012, The Bentley Hotel is a standalone Luxury hotel with no association with Hilton or Waldorf Astoria.[3]
Rooms[]
The Bentley London is built from six hundred tonnes of marble imported from Turkey, Italy and northern Africa as well as intricate mosaic designs throughout the property.[3] It was constructed behind the facade of three adjacent Georgian townhouses.[4] The hotel has furnishings to accompany the marble structuring and crystal chandeliers.
The average room is 30 to 35 square metres in size and feature silk covered walls.[3] The bathrooms are classically decorated in marble and have jacuzzi baths.
The Bentley London has twenty five suites which range between 50 and 250 square metres in size and each one is decorated with different antiques and paintings.[3] There are also four conference rooms accommodating up to 100 attendees, cocktail-reception style.
Restaurants and bars[]
The hotel is served by the Peridot Restaurant, a brasserie style restaurant which serves contemporary international cuisine, as well as traditional, chocolate and champagne afternoon teas.
The Malachite cocktail bar on the lower ground floor serves cocktails, martinis and long drinks.
Spa[]
The Bentley London has the Le Kalon Spa which offers a range of international treatments along with a Turkish Bath (Hammam), fitness room and a sauna.
Meetings & Events[]
The Bentley London has 4 events space that is suitable for corporate events, social parties, weddings and other private events.
