The Caribou Kitchen is a CITV animated children's television series which ran in Summer 1995 about an anthropomorphic caribou called Claudia who ran a restaurant which served a number of animal guests, including Mrs Panda, Caroline the Cow, Gerald the Giraffe and Taffy the Tiger. Other recurring supporting characters included the chef Abe the Anteater, and waiters Lisa the Lemur and Tom the Tortoise. Each of the fifty-two episodes lasted ten minutes and intended to teach its pre-school audiences important lessons. The rights to the show are owned by Universal Television, the current successor of Entertainment Rights.[1]
