The Dark Secret is the first EP released by Rhapsody in 2004. It is the band's first album to feature session guitarist Dominique Leurquin.

- Track 3 is an alternative version of "Guardiani del Destino" (featured in Symphony of Enchanted Lands II – The Dark Secret) with English lyrics.
- Track 4 would be featured in the following album, Symphony of Enchanted Lands II – The Dark Secret.
- Track 5 is a cover of a song by Italian progressive rock band Goblin, composed as part of the soundtrack for the 2001 giallo movie Sleepless, directed by Dario Argento.
