The Islington

The Islington is a live music venue located at 1 Tolpuddle Street, London, England, Prior to new ownership it was called the "North One".[1][2][3][4][5]

It has become a known venue for national and international touring acts. The venue booking schedule has hosted notable performances from Thurston Moore,[6] Jeffrey Lewis[7] Matthew Caws(Nada Surf)[8] Ethan Johns[9] Jamie Lawson[10] Sarah Neufeld (Arcade Fire),[11] [[Ward Thomas[12]]] The Magic Numbers,[13] Minor Alps,[14] Lisa Mitchell,[15] Whyte Horses,[16] Max Cooke,[17] The High Llamas,[18] Cara Dillon,[19] The Barr Brothers,[20] Jamie Lenman,[21] Ben Taylor[22] and Yasmine Hamdan.[23] The venue has hosted profile book launches from David Hepworth,[24] Paul Morley[25] Hunter Davies,[26] Jon Savage[27]
