The Lost City is an upcoming American action-adventure romantic comedy film directed by Aaron and Adam Nee, who co-wrote the screenplay with Oren Uziel and Dana Fox, from a story by Seth Gordon.[1] It stars Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum in the lead roles, with Daniel Radcliffe, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, and Brad Pitt in supporting roles.
Premise[]
A reclusive romance novelist on a book tour with her cover model gets swept up in a kidnapping attempt that lands them both in a cutthroat jungle adventure.

Production[]
In October 2020, it was announced Sandra Bullock had joined the cast of the film The Lost City of D, with Aaron and Adam Nee directing from a screenplay by Seth Gordon and Dana Fox, with Bullock serving as a producer under her Fortis Films banner, and Paramount Pictures to distribute.[2] In December 2020, Channing Tatum joined the cast of the film.[3] In March 2021, Patti Harrison, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, and Daniel Radcliffe joined the cast of the film.[4][5][6] In April 2021, Brad Pitt and Oscar Nunez joined the cast of the film, with Pitt appearing in a cameo role.[7][8]
Principal photography began in May 2021,[9] and took place in the Dominican Republic, including Samaná, Santo Domingo, Casa de Campo, Monte Plata Province and Pinewood Dominican Republic Studios.[10] Filming wrapped on August 16, 2021.[11]
Release[]
In October 2021, it was announced that the film The Lost City of D had been retitled The Lost City, and was scheduled to be released on March 25, 2022,[12] after previously having been scheduled to be released on April 15, 2022.[13]
