The Monte Carlo Show was a variety show set in Monte Carlo and presented by Patrick Wayne, including a French puppet sidekick Ploom the Caterpillar, as created by puppeteer André Tahon.[2] The show was taped live in Monaco and featured talents from around the world. The series was broadcast in USA during 1980.

International Broadcast[]

The series was broadcast during 1981 by ITV, and in 1982, The Benny Hill Show did a spoof called The Monte Carbolic Show.
