The Stationmaster's Wife (German: Bolwieser) is the title of a two-part 1977 television film by Rainer Werner Fassbinder, financed by ZDF. The theatrical version of the film was not aired until 1983. The screenplay is based on the 1931 novel of the same name by Oskar Maria Graf, which is based on a true story.[1]
