Theresia Bauer is a German politician (Alliance 90/The Greens) and Minister for Science and Art of Baden-Württemberg.

Life[]

Theresia Bauer studied Political Science, Economics and Germanistiks at University of Heidelberg. She worked as scientific advisor for Heinrich-Böll-Foundation Baden-Württemberg. Later she became CEO of HBS in Baden-Württemberg.[1]

In 1987 Bauer became member of The Greens. She was active within the party at the partys local branch in Heidelberg. In 2001 she became member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament. From 2002 to 2011 she was board member of Alliance 90/The Greens in Baden-Württemberg.[2] At 2021 Baden-Württemberg election Bauer got re-elected with 41,7% in her electoral district Heidelberg.[3]

On 12 May 2011 Bauer became minister for Science and Art of Baden-Württemberg.[2][4]

Theresa Bauer is married with Ubaldo Soto.[5] The couple has two children.[6]
