Thomas C. MacAvoy

Thomas C. MacAvoy (April 24, 1928 - May 28, 2015)^[1] served as the President of the Boy Scouts of America.

Background[]

In 1988, MacAvoy was awarded the 192nd Bronze Wolf, the only distinction of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, awarded by the World Scout Committee for exceptional services to world Scouting.^[2] He was one of only six men to hold all four top-tier Scouting awards, the Bronze Wolf, the Silver Buffalo, the Silver Antelope, and the Distinguished Eagle Scout Award.
