Thomas Patterson (born 1960) is the author of Mapping Security, the Corporate Security Sourcebook for Today's Global Economy,[1] published by Addison–Wesley[2] and Symantec Press [3] in December 2004. Quotes from the back cover include "Tom Patterson captures a compelling and practical view of security in a multinational environment. Your CSO needs to read this book!" from Dr. Vint Cerf".,[4] and "Patterson has more than a decade of first-hand experience in defending against such risks and it shows." from Chris Anderson, Editor in Chief of Wired Magazine.[5] Tom's career includes serving as Chief eCommerce Strategist at IBM,[6] Deloitte's security partner for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA),[7] as Dell's Executive Director for Global Security Services,[8] and as Chief Trust Officer for Unisys Corporation.[9] Thomas Patterson is a member of the board of directors for (NASDAQ: CYDE).[10][11] and his speech text has been included in the United States Congressional Record.[12]
