Timo Joh. Mayer (*15. Dezember 1977 in Villingen-Schwenningen) is a German director and producer.

Life[]

Besides his controversial movies, Timo Mayer produces Advertising-, Image- and Shortmovies. For his drama Kopf oder Zahl Ralph Richter, Heinz Hoenig, Mark Keller, Jenny Elvers and Claude-Oliver Rudolph were involved.[1][2] He produced music videos for Samy Deluxe, Azad, Kollegah, Casper, Culcha Candela, Xatar, Massiv, and Kay One.[3] The documentary Wundervolle Welt 3D, which was produced in 2015 and directed by Max Hofmann, was shown at the Filmfestival Emden[4] and the Beyond 3D Festival in Karlsruhe,[5] at the Filmschau Baden-Württemberg and the Stereomedia 3D in the beligian Lüttich.[6] His movies Amazing Ocean, Amazing Africa and Our Universe were produced for Universal USA.
