Timoteo Aparicio (1814-1882) was a Uruguayan military, politician and caudillo, leading commander during the Revolución de las Lanzas.[1] He began his military career under the command of Manuel Oribe, taking part in the main military actions produced during the Guerra Grande.[2]

He supported the governments of Gabriel Antonio Pereira and Bernardo Berro against the Colorado troops of and Venancio Flores.[3] He also took an active part during the Uruguayan War against the Empire of Brazil.[4]
