Todo Tiene Su Hora (Everything Has Its Time) is the 13th studio album by Dominican singer-songwriter Juan Luis Guerra and was released on November 11, 2014 by Capitol Latin. The album won Album of the Year and Best Contemporary Tropical Album at the 16th Latin Grammy Awards.[1] As of 2017, it had sold over 400,000 copies.[2]
Promotion and Tour[]
To promote the album, Guerra embarked on the commercially successful world concert tour titled Todo Tiene Su Hora Tour. The tour started at the Afro-Latino Festival in Belgium on July 11, 2015, and ended at Festival Presidente in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on November 5, 2017, with attendance of more than 200,000 fans.[2]

Commercial performance[]
In the United States, The album debuted at number 65 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and at number one on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart, selling 6,000 copies in its first week.[3] On March 26, 2009, the album received a Latin album gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipping 30,000 copies. In Spain, the album peaked at number 16 on the Spanish Albums Chart[4] and received an album gold certification by the PROMISCAE. In Argentina, the album reached the top 20.[5][6][7][8]
Critical reception[]
AllMusic gave the album a positive review and wrote that "Todo Tiene Su Hora is as consistent as it is adventurous; it ranks easily among Guerra's finest recordings, and reveals that even after 30 years, he is able to break new ground while remaining readily accessible to longtime fans".[9]
