Tom Platz

Thomas Steven Platz is an American retired professional bodybuilder. He was known for his leg development, which in his prime measured over 30 inches, earning him the nickname The Quadfather.[1]

Platz was the director of talent development for Vince McMahon's short-lived World Bodybuilding Federation (WBF).[2] He was initially announced as an overseer for McMahon's Bodybuilding Lifestyles magazine, but subsequently ambushed the closing ceremonies of Mr. Olympia 1990 (which he attended with McMahon as representatives of the aforementioned magazine) to announce the WBF, which competed directly with the IFBB.[3][4]
