Totally Spies! is a 2005 video game developed by Canadian studio Mistic Software, based on the French anime-influenced animated television series Totally Spies!. The game's storyline is loosely based on the first three seasons of the show. This game was published by Atari and developed by Mistic Software for the Game Boy Advance. It was released in North America on November 15, 2005 and in Europe on February 10, 2006. This game is notorious for having several individual detailed artworks as game over screens, instead of just one reoccurring one.

Gameplay[]

Alex in one of the early stages

The game is divided into episodic chapters, in which there are stages. Each spy (Sam, Clover and Alex) is playable in 3 different types of stages (horizontal, vertical and vehicle)[1] and there are 16 stages in total. Stages are viewed from a side-on or top-down perspective. Each spy has a health meter. Jerry gives the girls gadgets to assist them on their missions.

The player can unlock passwords by finding the flowers in the stages (there is 1 flower per chapter). These could be entered at the official Totally Spies! website.

Reception[]

Game review aggregation website GameRankings gave it a rating of 57% based on 2 reviews.[2] Nintendo-x2.com gave it a rating of 5.9.[3] French game review website Jeuxvideo.com gave it 9/20.[4]
