Trachylepis brauni, also known commonly as Braun's mabuya and the Ukinga montane skink, is a species of lizard in the family Scincidae. The species is endemic to Tanzania.
Etymology[]
The specific name, brauni, is in honor of German zoologist (born 1908).[3]
Geographic range[]
T. brauni is found in southwestern Tanzania.[2]
Habitat[]
The preferred natural habitats of T. brauni are grassland and savanna, at altitudes of 2,100–2,800 m (6,900–9,200 ft).[1]
Reproduction[]
T. brauni is viviparous.[4]
