Transition is Nathan Stickman's ninth studio album. It is also the first album to use his full name.

Background[]

Transition is a return to Stickman's folk rock sound after over a decade performing with a band.[1] Originally intended to be a solo acoustic project, the rhythm tracks were later added to complete the record. The subject matter of the album was to document Stickman's experience of moving out west. He stated, "these are the songs about the purposeful dissolve of one's life and the journey out west to find a new beginning".[2]
