Trichology

Trichology is the study of the hair and scalp.^[1] The term derives from Ancient Greek θρίξ (thríx), "hair"^[2] and -λογία -logia. In most jurisdictions, it is considered a para-medical discipline.^[3]

The Institute of Trichologists was founded in 1902.^[4]
