Tripp Island

Tripp Island (

76°38′S 162°42′E / 76.633°S 162.700°E / -76.633; 162.700Coordinates: 76°38′S 162°42′E / 76.633°S 162.700°E / -76.633; 162.700) is an island in the south part of Tripp Bay along the coast of Victoria Land. Discovered by the British Antarctic Expedition (1907–09) which named this feature for of Wellington, New Zealand, a friend and supporter of Ernest Shackleton.
