1. From Anand Vihar Terminal to Katihar, it is hauled by a Ghaziabad / Gomoh based WAP-7 electric locomotive.

2. As the rest of the route is not electrified, a Siliguri based EMD WDP-4/WDP-4B/WDP-4D diesel locomotive hauled the train from Katihar to Agartala.
