The song was released on June 21, 2012, as the album's third single. The song was written by Far East Movement, Andreas Schuller, Ricky Reed, Matthew Koma, and produced by Axident and Wallpaper (Ricky Reed).
The song is featured in the game Just Dance 2014. It was also one of the select songs available on the demo version.
A music video to accompany the release of "Turn Up the Love" was first released onto YouTube on 21 June 2012 at a total length of three minutes and thirty-five seconds.[1] Singer Colette Carr makes a cameo.[citation needed]
