Turośl [ˈturɔɕl] (German: Turoscheln (1938-45: Mittenheide)) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Pisz, within Pisz County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 18 kilometres (11 mi) south-west of Pisz and 79 km (49 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
