Tusaş Engine Industries

Tusaş Engine Industries (TEI) (Turkish: TUSAŞ Motor Sanayii A.Ş.), is a aerospace engine manufacturer and a global design center dedicated to the production of engines and critical engine parts for commercial and military aircraft located in Eskişehir, Turkey.[1][2]

TEI was founded in 1985 as a joint venture between GE Aviation and Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), the ,[3] and the Turkish Aeronautical Association.[4][5] According to TEI, one of every two aircraft flies with TEI parts.[6]

History[]

The company started with component manufacturing for the General Electric F110 engine powering the F-16,[7] and is planning other jet engine parts related to the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.[8]
