UFC Fight Night: Luque vs. Muhammad 2 (also known as UFC Fight Night 206 and UFC on ESPN+ 64) is an upcoming mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that will take place on April 16, 2022, at the UFC Apex facility in Enterprise, Nevada, part of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area, United States.[1]

Background[]

A welterweight rematch between Vicente Luque and Belal Muhammad is expected to headline the event.[2] The pair previously met at UFC 205, where Luque won the bout via first-round knockout.[3]

A lightweight bout between Drakkar Klose and Nikolas Motta was briefly link to the event.[4] However, Motta was removed from the event for undisclosed reason and he was replaced by Brandon Jenkins.[5]

A welterweight bout between Miguel Baeza and Dhiego Lima was scheduled for the event.[6] However, Lima announced his retirement from competition in early February and was replaced by André Fialho.[7]

A featherweight bout between Melsik Baghdasaryan and T.J. Laramie was scheduled for this event.[8] However, Melsik pulled out due to unknown reasons and Laramie was rebooked against Pat Sabatini.[9]
