Un is a town and a nagar panchayat in Shamli district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

District create is established in11/04/2011.

Uon Block is established in 26/01/1955.

Shamali Block is established in 01/04/1962.

Kandhala Block is established in 01/04/1961.

Un has an average literacy rate of 58%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 69%, and female literacy is 45%.
