The University of Florida Leadership and Education Foundation, Inc. (UFLEF, Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that serves as a Direct Support Organization for the University of Florida. Since its creation in 1992,[1] UFLEF, Inc. has been tasked to further the teaching, research and service missions of the University of Florida specifically as they pertain to agriculture, natural resources and related activities.
As such UFLEF, Inc. is administrated by the University of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) and follows the IFAS mission to develop knowledge in agriculture, human and natural resources, and to make that knowledge available to people to sustain and enhance their quality of life. UFLEF, Inc. is currently organized into two units; the Office of Conferences and Institutes and the Wedgworth Leadership Institute for Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Office of Conferences and Institutes (OCI)[]
OCI is a full service conference planning agency that assists groups working with agriculture natural resources and the environment. OCI coordinates workshops, symposia, conferences, trainings and special events throughout the United States. The Office of Conferences and Institutes is located on the University of Florida main campus in Gainesville, FL, USA.

Wedgworth Leadership Institute for Agriculture and Natural Resources (WLI)[]
The Wedgworth Leadership Institute for Agriculture and Natural Resources develops and refines the leadership capabilities of leaders in Florida agriculture and natural resources. WLI educates and prepares young leaders to become increasingly involved with Florida policy formation. Each WLI class participates in a 22 month program which provides training on current agriculture and natural resources issues through professional seminars.
