Unnai Suttrum Ulagam (transl. The world revolves around you) is a 1977 Indian Tamil-language film written and directed by G. Subramaniya Reddiar.[1] The film stars Jayalalithaa, leading an ensemble cast including Prameela, Vidhubala, Kamal Haasan, Savithri and Vijayakumar. A. V. M. Rajan plays a cameo. The film was directed by G.Subramaniya Reddiar and produced by Shree Navaneetha Pictures. Jayalalithaa played the elder sister who sacrificed happiness for the sake of her siblings. The film was released on 29 April 1977, and Jayalalithaa won the Tamil Nadu Cinema Fan Award for Best Actress.
Plot[]
Jayalalitha is a playful village belle and Savithri is her well wisher. Savithri's husband Gemini leaves her. Jayalalitha is the elder sister of Baby Sridevi, Kamal and Vidhubala. She takes care of her all siblings. But,Kamal disrespects jayalalitha. And vidhubala dies as pregnant. How Jayalalitha saves her family forms the crux of the story.
