Upfront is the sixteenth album recorded by jazz musician David Sanborn, released in 1992. This album focused on other instruments, instead of the saxophone being the prime instrument. Instruments such as the organ, drums, and guitar all play a role on this album. Some key musicians collaborated with Sanborn on this album including Eric Clapton, , John Purcell, Marcus Miller, and Steve Jordan.[2]
